UCLA at Stanford (-10)

Didn’t we just do this?  The Bruins and Cardinal get together 6 days after Stanford ran all over UCLA in the Rose Bowl, with just the location (and point spread) different.  Jim Mora can send UCLA to the Rose Bowl for the first time in, roughly, forever with an upset, while David Shaw can make his case for coach of the year by winning the Pac 12 in his first season without Andrew Luck.

Thank God for do overs! I foolishly took UCLA last week, and it cost me.  Fool me once? Shame on you.  Fool me twice? I’m an idiot.  Stanford is a big favorite, but I didn’t see much from the Bruins last week that make me think they can keep it close in Palo Alto.

Tim – UCLA

I kind of think that UCLA held back a bit in their first matchup. Not that they lost on purpose…just that they maybe played a little conservatively. I think the Bruins will come out with some intensity and it’s not like Stanford possesses an explosive offense. I’ll take UCLA to cover.

Craig – Stanford

I know UCLA probably let up a bit but I am a believe in Stanford big time. I think their D is very, very good, plus hosting UCLA at home.

Corey – UCLA

Is Stanford better than UCLA…Yes!  Will they beat them two weeks in a row…I’m not so sure.  In my opinion, UCLA is much better than their showing last week against the Cardinal.  Look for them to keep this one closer than the 10 point spread is predicting.  I won’t be surprised if the Bruins pull off the upset, but I think the Cardinal will pull it out with a huge defensive stand late in the game.
