Penn State Recruiting: Thaddeus Snodgrass Decision Coming Tomorrow

Not many players from the class of 2014 have committed, but Ohio junior wide receiver Thaddeus Snodgrass has apparently seen enough and wants to end his recruitment now. On Thursday, he will choose between Ohio State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Wisconsin and Michigan State.

Snodgrass was unable to make his planned visit to Notre Dame last weekend but was in Columbus for the Purdue game and in Happy Valley for the whiteout against Ohio State.

While many feel that the Buckeyes are the favorite, Snodgrass tweeted this following his visit to Penn State:

For those not hip to Twitter lingo, that’s a positive response.

Along with his top five, the 6’1″ 170 pound, four star junior wideout has offers from Ohio, Akron, Purdue, Toledo and Georgia Tech. In 2012 he had 30 receptions for 452 yards and is regarded as one of the top wide receivers in the midwest.

Will Thaddeus pick the hometown Buckeyes or will the success of guys like Bill O’Brien and Allen Robinson be enough to pull him out of Ohio? We’ll all know in about 24 hours.

    Thaddeus >>>>>>>>>>>>>>

(I don’t tweet, so I hope I spelled that right.)

Anyway, it’s always nice to anticipate some highly talented recruits. However 2014 is still a long way off. We still need to buckle down and get the guys we need for 2013 or else Thad may be changing his mind.

I’m pretty confident in the guys that have remained on board. They stayed committed through the sanctions and the drama and I don’t think this season has given them any reason to change their mind. I would be pretty surprised if any of them signed elsewhere.

The advantage with signing PSU is he knows ” I’ll be home for Christmas “
