Penn State won their 1st game in Iowa City since 1999 last night and they did it impressively. While this was a near-perfect team performance, there aren’t enough game balls to give one to everyone.

Bill Belton

Penn State’s number one running back is finally healthy again, following a week one ankle injury. Despite the success Zach Zwinak has had in recent weeks, Belton reminded fans why he is the guy. Belton adds a different dimension to the PSU offense, evident from the first play of the game when he lined up in the slot and caught a pass. He also possesses speed and elusiveness that the other backs don’t have.
His 103 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns were enough to beat the Hawkeyes without any additional offense, but he still has to work on keeping the football protected.
