Penn State Dominates Iowa-A Twitter Story

After nearly returning the 2nd half kickoff for a TD, it took Penn State like 12 more seconds to end any foolish hopes Iowa had of a comeback.

This is in all caps because it’s very important. After Mauti’s interception, it became necessary to bring up the stupidity of the Lombardi Award folks leaving a likely All American off of their watch list. This really might be the only logical explanation.

Another quote from the geniuses at BTN. Zach Zwinak fumbled inches from putting PSU up 38-0, which prompted the conference owned network to theorize that the Hawkeyes were about to mount a comeback. Clearly whiskey was being served in the Kinnick Stadium press box by this point.

I can only imagine the refs felt back for Vandenberg by this time. He threw a pass that landed BEHIND the photographers in the end zone, and somehow Stephon Morris was flagged for pass interference. I also blamed Mark Emmert for this flag at some point too.

After that PI call, Iowa ended up turning it over on downs, because not even the football Gods like Mark Emmert. That play calling sequence featured a team down 31-0 handing the ball off to their fullback on 3rd down. Even Jay Paterno thought that was a curious decision.

After PSU’s last score to go up 38-0, I was kind of hoping O’Brien would keep pouring it on. Iowa returned this kickoff for a TD, and I can only imagine BOB won’t make this mistake again.

Game over. Iowa scored at some point in there, but I was just too busy laughing at them to really notice.
