The latest edition of the Fansided Top 25 was released this morning on SaturdayBlitz.com and, as always, Matt de Bear and myself (Tim Tolley) played a small role in the process.
Conference play has finally begun on a national scale and we are now getting a little glimpse into who and what these teams really are. For me personally, I thought the biggest challenge was figuring out where to slot USC and Stanford. Both have a road loss, but USCs loss is TO Stanford. On my poll, USC actually dropped from last week during their bye week, entirely due to Stanford’s loss at Washington. I felt that this early in the season, it was only fair to keep USC behind Stanford, until they do something to prove that they’ve moved on. They’ll get that shot this Thursday at Utah.
Until then…
