Da’Quan Davis

Even before the sanctions were announced, an already thin defensive secondary was taking hits with the dismissals of Derrick Thomas and Curtis Drake from the program.  Adrian Amos and Stephon Morris would seem to have the two starting cornerback positions locked up, but Davis’ name has been mentioned early on in camp as one of the freshmen who has impressed.  With new defensive coordinator Ted Roof’s aggressive approach with his corners, Da’Quan will be counted on to play a big role early.
