Adam Breneman Suffers Knee Injury

Following rumors that began earlier in the day, I received this in a text message from 2013 Penn State commit, TE Adam Breneman:

Since the rumors are out I guess I’ll make a statement. At our 7v7 today I did suffer a knee injury. We are unsure how minor or severe it is. Doctor Bixler said it could be very minor or it could be ACL. We should know in the next 24 hours after I get an MRI.

Adam told me just last night that he had fully recovered from his labrum injury and had resumed playing basketball and 7 on 7 football. He will be a senior at Cedar Cliff high school this year where he and BCS-level 2014 recruit QB Andrew Ford have very high expectations.

As soon as the results of the MRI are known, I’ll pass them along.  Here’s wishing Adam Breneman a speedy recovery.
