LB Brandon Bell Visiting Penn State Today

New Jersey linebacker Brandon Bell made an appearance in Happy Valley the week before the Spring game and was offered a scholarship just a couple of weeks ago. Tomorrow, Bell will be making a return trip for his second unofficial visit to Penn State.

Bell had 117 tackles as a junior, including 24 tackles for loss and 6 sacks. He also rushed for five touchdowns and holds offers from a dozen schools, including Northwestern, Maryland, Rutgers, Syracuse and West Virginia. Brandon has seemed to be high on PSU since the first time I contacted him and hasn’t taken a visit since his Penn State trip.

Brandon tells me that he will be visiting Rutgers next week and intends to “visit around” before making his decision.

The 6’2″ 220 pounder is listed as a three star inside linebacker by Rivals and 247Sports. Scout lists him the same, but also calls him the 13th best middle linebacker in the country.

You can watch Brandon’s highlight reel HERE.
