I told you (you were there, right?!?) on our Facebook page last week that I had heard Penn State held a slight edge in obtaining the services of Dorian Johnson, the top OL in Pennsylvania. A couple days later, it was reported elsewhere that Pitt is the “favorite.”
Dorian tells me that he does not have an official favorite.
“Pitt and Penn State are basically neck and neck at this point.”
Dorian recently visited Pitt (again) and told me he will make another visit to Happy Valley June 9th before announcing his decision in late June/early July.
He is currently ranked as the 2nd best OT in the country and the 12th best player overall by 247Sports.
