Lunchtime Poll: Rob Bolden

Recent reports have stated that Penn State Quarterback Rob Bolden has been released from his scholarship and is seeking a transfer. Bolden was the 2nd ranked dual-threat QB in his class, according to Rivals.com and you can be sure that somebody is going to give him a shot. He had offers from Oregon, Nebraska, Virginia Tech and Duke, among many others.

Who knows, a change of scenery may go a long way toward the progression of Rob Bolden, who has occasionally shown flashes of better-than-solid quarterback play.

Keep in mind, there are restrictions that make it difficult for a player to transfer to another school within the Big Ten. It’s unlikely that the other B1G schools will be an option for Rob. Also a factor, Rob still has his redshirt year available. If he transfers within the FBS (Div. 1), he will be able to use that redshirt, then play in 2013 with two years of eligibility remaining.

Where will Rob Bolden finish his college career?
