In what I would consider to be a bit of a shocker, the top dual-threat QB in Pennsylvania, Chavas Rawlins, says that he worked out for Penn State today.
It’s been widely accepted that Christian Hackenberg will be THE quarterback in the class of 2013 for Penn State. Still, it’s not out of the question that a current QB could transfer, opening up a roster spot. It could just be the Penn State staff doing their due-diligence on an in-state kid, just in case.
Regardless of the logic behind it, any time that Penn State works out a 6’4″ 190 pound QB with reported 4.43 speed, it’s worth paying attention to.
Chavas is a 3 star player with offers from North Carolina, Pitt, WVU, Duke, Northwestern, Virginia and others.
