After presenting the weekly recruiting update over at PennLive last week, it has returned home to VBR!

There’s a lot of information this week, so I’m not going to add much filler to the facts! Here we go!

No commitments this week… but progress.

David Williams and DaJaun Drennon visited over the weekend and both came away very impressed. David said everything went great and Drennon named Penn State his new number one school.

Also visiting was Michigan Athlete Da’Mario Jones who is hoping for an offer. Jones transferred from New Jersey and is very familiar with Penn State.

LB Micah Kiser was scheduled to visit Penn State as of last Thursday, but I haven’t been able to get in touch with him since then to confirm that he took the trip.

Florida WR Alvin Bailey received an offer from Penn State. The staff appears to be moving on from Ryan Switzer. Last year, Bailey had 836 passing yards, 833 rushing yards and 376 receiving yards to go along with 18 total TDs.

LB Buddy Brown is scheduled to visit as is 2012 incoming QB Steven Bench, who tells me he is hoping to get a chance to do some recruiting.

The weekend of April 14th could get busy, as OL Dorian Johnson and LB Alex Anzalone have told me they intend to visit. Joining them could be DT Maurice Hurst Jr. who told me “I have a Penn State visit coming up in April. It’s been my favorite school since I was little. I’m wearing Penn State sweatpants right now, actually!” I’ll work over the next week to find out who else will be coming with them.
