Pennsylvania LB hopes to hear more from Penn State

Penn State has quite a few scholarship offers extended to linebackers up and down the east coast and into the midwest, but doesn’t yet have a commitment for the class of 2013 LB unit.

There’s one linebacker in their back yard who is hoping to hear more from the staff.

6’2″ 220 pound Haverford native, Matt Galambos, has an offer from Temple and will be visiting Duke next weekend, when he hopes to get his 2nd offer.

I asked him about an upcoming Penn State visit, and he admitted his interest.

“No sir I don’t (have a visit planned), I would like to have some more contact with them, though.”

Though his film is short, Matt certainly looks the part of a Penn State linebacker who plays on instincts and likes to hit. Penn State may be waiting on a few other LB’s decisions, but Matt shouldn’t be too far down their list. 247Sports lists matt as a 3 star inside linebacker
