First, news broke this afternoon of QB Christian Hackenberg committing to Penn State. Now, Ross Douglas of Avon, OH has pledged to play along side Christian.
Douglas is a 3/4 star CB who boasts a 4.41 40 yard dash, according to Rivals. He was offered by Penn State at their junior day and has been racking up offers since then from the likes of Indiana, Northwestern, Tennessee, Boston College and Maryland, among others.
After putting together the 2012 DB depth chart yesterday, I have to imagine that it played a part in his decision. Douglas will have a chance to contribute as a freshman in 2013.
