With Junior Day out of the way and commitments on the horizon, take a look at our rundown of this year’s most important recruits.
10. DT- Greg Webb
This kid is a beast. He’s very hard to block and has great speed off of the ball. I have him at 10 because I see him at being a long-shot for PSU.
Terry is a dual-threat QB, although, in his film he seems to be a pass first QB. He doesn’t have any offers yet which is surprising because he seems to have all the tools to be a good QB at the collegiate level.
Definitely need to take a RB in this class. Being able to grab Williams would be nothing short of outstanding. Very hard runner with exceptional speed. One of the top RB’s in the 2013 class.
His film is very impressive. Allen is the #1 weak-side defensive end in the country. He is extremely quick off the ball, and does a good job of keeping the ball in front of him at all times.
It would be pretty nice getting a top flight offensive lineman, especially since he is from Pennsylvania.
Buddy has great play recognition, he is also athletic and quick to the ball. No doubt in my mind would he continue the “Linebacker U” trademark.
Kid can flat-out fly. He was recently named the Gatorade Player of the Year in West Virginia. He has many accolades in high school from being a state champion sprinter to being a state champion basketball player. Just an all around athelete. He will most likely play WR in college but i definately wouldn’t mind seeing him in the backfield every once in a while. If he gets into the secondary, consider him gone.
Breneman is a massive target. He definately hasn’t been shy in making his interest in Penn State public. He would be a huge addition to the offense if the staff can get him on board. You can’t help but think Coach O’Brien is selling Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski to him like lemonade on a summer day! I think Breneman would be an immediate impact.
Explosive, explosive, explosive! Foster would be a huge help in the offense let alone the return game. He is the #1 rated WR in the nation per 24/7 sports. He stands at 6’3 to continue the tradition of having tall, lengthy wideouts in Happy Valley.
Without a question Hackenberg is my #1 most important recruit. We have been waiting for years now to have that one “game-changing” Quarterback. Well, Hackenberg is that guy. The Pro-style quarterback from Virginia has a rocket-arm, and a very quick and on time release. By getting Hackenberg early on in the recruiting process, I believe it would help the staff tremendously in getting some more big time talent to commit.
