In our QB, RB, WR Recruiting Preview, Patrick mentioned that Foster has offers from “OSU and anywhere he wants to go.” That’s pretty accurate. He is ranked as a 5 star WR by 247Sports and Scout.com and is a consensus top 25 player in the country.
There are rare times when you watch a kid’s high school film and know immediately that this kid will one day play in the NFL. Enter Robert Foster. He just does everything well. Has the right size, speed, hands, elusiveness, etc.
Foster recently accepted an invite to the Penn State Junior Day next weekend and it’s expected that O’Brien and WR Coach Hixon will be heavily pursuing the in-state talent. While Penn State has several WRs on the roster, none have the natural ability and package that Foster presents.
Take a second and watch at least the very 1st play on his reel. I bet you stick around.
